Camp Trip at Owyhee

We went camping at Owyhee Reservoir this past weekend with a few of our good friends. It was a blast, as usual...but when is camping NOT a blast? Oh wait, when you're super pregnant, dirty, hot and sober (hint: me last summer); yes, THAT is when camping is not a blast. So happy that summer is finally here and we can start partaking in our usual outdoor activities! Yay!

Summertime

First off, gotta wish my mama a very Happy (belated) Birthday! (Started this post on her birthday a couple days ago but it took me 2 days to complete so whoops!) Love you!

PS, trying to get these two to look at the camera
at the same time was a disaster.

My parents came to visit a couple weeks go...a.k.a babysit our little darling while Carson was in Bend for a bachelor party and I was here in town showing the bachelorette a good time and trying to get drunk. 'Trying' being the key word here. That didn't exactly happen being that I was the first one in bed. Never thought trying to get drunk could be so exhausting! Can you say LAME?! Anyways, our girls' day was spent sipping some vino at Paint 'n Sip, laying out by the pool, cooking dinner and ending the night with pitchers of mosquitos, I mean mojitos, on the patio at Bardenay. It was a blast to celebrate the bride-to-be, LeeAnn, and trying to keep each others' minds away from what kind of trouble the husbands were getting into in Bend...I will just leave it at that.

This past weekend we went to our friends' cabin on the Snake River...one of our fav places on Earth. We took Kenna out on her first boat ride and it was a total success! She loved it. Kind of knew that would be the case being that she was in the womb all last summer and we were on the lake 95% of time. Plus, her parents are boating fools, if she didn't like it, we'd for sure have to get rid of her.

My cute boys

Happy little grease ball :)

The grease ball and her aunties...technically three grease balls

Patiently awaiting the boat to come back

Kenna's sweet ass camping high chair!

Hated it

Loved it

Kenna is 8 months old and such a little blabber mouth. Seriously, she doesn't shut up. She squeals and laughs and yells at us all day long. The worst is in public places when she let's out an ear piercing screech of excitement and people turn their heads to make sure a child isn't being murdered. She is also a teething fool; drooling, has a permanent walrus tusks coming out of her nose and biting everything she can get her little paws on...including our nailbeds. OUCH.

Off to enjoy another weekend of fun in the sun! More picture overloads to come...summer is just getting started! Lucky you :)
