Today...

Dad's out of town. I had the day off with my babe. We slept in, had bananas and toast for breakfast, cuddled, played, took a couple naps, played some more, went on a long walk (then, just as we parked our stroller in the garage, realized we were missing a certain pair of a certain little person's shoes which turned our already long walk into a REAAAALLLLY long walk looking for them), played some more and filled the rest of the day with a couple photo shoots. I did not wear a bra or an ounce of makeup, I did not shower until 4 o'clock and my car did not leave the driveway. It was a day full of perfection. And lots of kisses :)

Kenna in my wedding dress and pearls; I just love this beautiful creature of mine.

Almost 13 months old...those chubby legs and cheeks are thinning and the babble is becoming less like babble and more like words. My baby is disappearing right before my eyes.

We ventured outside to take advantage of the crisp, beautiful Fall afternoon and do some photog. Glad we did.

And then it was nap time :)

Just makin' some memories

Well friends, avid followers, strangers and blog stalkers, I've busted out the wintry scents which are busy melting away in their warmers (all 4 of them...yes, I have a Scentsy addiction), the pumpkins are on the porch, I've dusted off my boots and hung my scarves and football has started to consume our lives...just how we like it! Lows in the 30's and highs in the 60's, I'd say it's officially Fall in Boise! Hell to the yeah.

In other news...I am officially the mother of a one year old. Or as my Baby Center emails and updates refer to her, a toddler. Oh. Em. G.

We had a get together to celebrate the special day. She was the absolute perfect party girl!

The next weekend, we were off to family camp 2013! Every year we try to meet our parents and Carson's sister and her family in a somewhat centralized location (being that we come from all over) for a campout. This year my parents couldn't make it but the rest of us met in good old Boardman, Oregon (home of the famous Bozo burger!). It was another successful and super fun trip, especially with addition of the kiddos this year :)

Love her sleepy face.

Our sweet 3-family set up!

Papa kickin' back after a long day.

"Mine"

One walker + one crawler = 6 busy adults

Dad's watching football.

Paws...just being Paws.

Nana and her girls!

Oh you know, just a little trailer-side Muppets before bed.

My lumberjack daughter who looks very much
like a boy in these pictures, hanging with Uncle Rob.

A sweet moment I caught of my favorite two.

:)

The traditional family camp photo. I promise I'm not
strangling my dog...although I feel like it sometimes.

Cousins being cousins.

And on to the next weekend: the munchkin's first P-patch trip!
