She's a PINEAPPLE!

Can you believe it? I am actually posting ON TIME this week! I am a full 34 weeks pregnant tomorrow (holy shit), so technically, I am still in my 33rd week as I post this. Here you have it!

So I am fully aware that my belly is starting to protrude out like a torpedo...but I will just DIE if I end up looking anything like this...sick.

Aaaaaaannnd, I'm pretty sure my husband would never come near me again. Can someone please explain to me how she didn't rip right open? Okay, I'm done ranting. But it is totally disturbing. However, there ARE 6 babies in there. But it's still gross. Okay, now I'm really done.

 first baby shower! Oh and by the way, did you realize you were

 wearing a scarf?...did you also realize it was 102 degrees that day? :)

Seriously, who let me/ENCOURAGED me to do this?

 These lovely ladies all played a huge part in making my

shower SO special. (Cara, not pictured, also helped but then 

chose to go to a country concert for the weekend instead...can't say

 I blame her). Not only do I get to work with these

girls, but I get to call them good friends. Lucky girl.

 Oh and just a little side note: Tristin (next to me, green shirt 

and FASCINATOR) has a bun in the oven too! Yay for procreation!

I'm tired, okay?!

Okay, so it turns out, being 32 weeks pregnant sneaks up on you and time starts to fly by! I can't believe how fast these past few weeks have gone...I'm pretty sure the days are getting shorter by the hour and the weeks by the day. We cannot believe that we only have about a month and half to go. Totally insane. But we are SO excited for our little Kenna girl to get here!

You know you're 32 weeks pregnant when:

-You full on ball your eyes out when the 'Fabulous Five' win gold in the gymnastics team all around...and then you cry again each time they replay it.

-You cry when you drop your dog off at the groomer for a simple bath and trim because he really doesn't want you to leave him.

-You clean every little crumb out of the silverware drawer.

-Your most recent Google search is: "does cellulite go away after childbirth?"

(And for those of you wondering, yes, most of it DOES go away because it's caused from fluid retention in your tissues---4 pounds worth!)

29 Weeks

Fun facts of the week:

-Kenna is quite the little acrobat in there! (I like to think more like ballerina, Carson thinks more like soccer player) She started moving quite a bit more this past week. Watching your abdomen move on it's own and knowing someone else is controlling those sudden little jolts and turns is pretty unbelievable.

-I had two dinners last night. One of which was propped perfectly on my belly while sitting on the couch.

-My boob leaked through my shirt. Didn't know that was supposed to happen just yet. Oh the joy.

-Got to spend the weekend at the coast with 9 of my besties from Portland. High school girls reunion 2012 was awesome this year even though 2 of us were knocked up. (Pictures to come next week)

28 Weeks-Mini Post

Things you realize by the 28th week of pregnancy:

-Shirts that you originally bought while not being pregnant because they were cute but that you never wore because they made you look pregnant, work really well when you ARE pregnant. Hmm, makes sense I guess.

-It's totally worth your money to invest in new scrub pants to avoid that awkward "busting of the ass seams sound" (3 times) in front of your patient while positioning them for their mammogram. AND being a million times more comfortable...totally worth it. But they ARE way too damn expensive. Way.

-Floaties are the best treat for a pregnant belly. I got to lay on my stomach in the lake for the first time in about 6 months. Uh-mazing.

-That you are less than 3 months away from bringing another human into the world....and then the anxiety sets in.

Family Camp

I got to spend last weekend with the BEST family ever...mine. (plus Jake, Megan and Coop, of course)
We had an awesome time at Owyhee Reservoir. The Big Taylors and Pennocks came from Bend and my parents came all the way from Portland. It was an incredibly long drive for them but it was definitely worth it!

We started the "family camp" tradition a couple years ago and each year we strive for a good family pic. Here's what we ended up with this year...

Aaaaand, for all you that are confused with how far along I am, let me clarify. Because I am slightly a slacker, I have been posting the chalkboard picture a little late each week. I am actually 28 weeks pregnant. And let me tell you, it is starting to fly by! I can't believe 2 of my FAVORITE times of the year are right around the corner (football season and holiday season), and add a BABY to that?! I sure am one lucky girl.
